The following poster was presented at the Society of Nuclear Medicine annual meeting in Salt Lake City, UT in June, 2010. These findings show that the normalized hematocrit, obtained from blood volume analysis, offers enhanced accuracy over the peripheral hematocrit in assessments of red blood cell volume. The abstract was published in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine 2010; 51 (Supplement 2):1676.
